Description: The house by the Reservoir was the last on the gap. Mr. Branker used to stake out his cows every Sunday in the pasture in our neighbourhood. One day my friends and I lift up the stakes and tried to see if the cows would chase us. I will never forget that day. I never knew my mother could get so angry. Looking back on it, I still think to myself, maybe the cows wanted to play with us too.
Bio: Zoe Osborne (thezoekid1) is a spatial designer from Barbados. Her work focuses on Caribbean symbolism and narratives with an exploration of homesickness in the Caribbean Diaspora. Zoe has showcased work in Barbados, Dubai, Miami and NYC for exhibitions curated by institutions such as SuperRare.
